Jeanette Diekman
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor
For over two decades, I have dedicated myself to supporting individuals and families in the Lake Norman area on their journey toward mental well-being. Through evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Theory, I help clients navigate life's challenges and build lasting resilience.
I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship — believing it to be essential for meaningful progress. By collaboratively exploring thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, I work alongside my clients to cultivate insight and implement positive changes that promote lasting growth and healing.
As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C), I specialize in guiding individuals through the complexities of pregnancy and the postpartum period. Whether you are navigating perinatal anxiety, postpartum depression, pregnancy loss, or the emotional upheaval of new parenthood, I offer compassionate, individualized support tailored to your unique needs and circumstances.
I believe that a safe, collaborative therapeutic space is the foundation of meaningful change. My work focuses on helping clients effectively manage anxiety and depression, navigate major life transitions, and develop practical tools for lasting emotional wellbeing. I remain committed to ongoing professional development so that every client receives the highest standard of evidence-based care.
My goal is to create an environment where individuals and families feel truly empowered — to understand themselves more deeply, achieve their personal goals, and lead fulfilling lives.
Outside the office, I love to read, bake, and spend time with my husband, two young adult children, and three very beloved dogs. The same warmth I bring to my personal life shapes every session I hold with my clients.
