Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate
& National Certified Counselor
With me as your therapist, you will experience affirming and collaborative therapy where you are encouraged to show up fully as yourself. I work to understand people through a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens and aim to create a warm, genuine, and empathetic environment in which they can grow.
Therapy is a partnership, and I am here to walk beside you in a space built on deep trust, safety, and mutual respect. My goal is to cultivate a strong therapeutic alliance that will allow you to feel at ease, supported, and empowered enough to comfortably learn about yourself and begin healing and reaching your goals.
Together we will discuss and explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to get a better understanding of what it is you need. We will take time to learn about your past while we create the way for a different future, and together build a toolbox of coping skills that you can call upon for support during life's most difficult moments.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy to foster your self-discovery and guide you along the path to honest self-exploration, clearer self-awareness, and greater self-acceptance.
I take an eclectic approach to sessions, picking specific interventions based on what works best for each client's immediate and unique needs and goals. I enjoy incorporating expressive arts to encourage people to use creativity as a means to a deeper understanding of themselves, their emotions, and their needs.
When I'm not at work, I love to spend my free time reading, junk journaling, adding to my tattoo collection, and watching horror movies!
