Harrison Jordan
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate & Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate
Life can feel overwhelming when you're struggling with anxiety, depression, obsessive thoughts, ADHD symptoms, substance use, or a major life transition. You may feel stuck, uncertain about your next step, or simply tired of trying to manage everything on your own. You don't have to face those challenges alone.
I provide individual counseling for children (10+), teens, and adults in Mooresville, Lake Norman, and throughout North Carolina through secure telehealth. I have experience helping individuals navigate substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health concerns (dual diagnosis), ADHD, OCD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress, and difficult life transitions. Whether you're seeking recovery from addiction, learning strategies to manage ADHD, working through intrusive thoughts, or navigating life's challenges, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCAS-A), I provide counseling under clinical supervision while continuing to expand my expertise in evidence-based treatment for substance use, ADHD, and other mental health concerns. I believe every person's story has value, and healing begins by understanding where you've been while building hope for where you're going.
I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique goals. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work alongside you to identify what's keeping you stuck and develop realistic strategies that create lasting change.
My therapeutic style integrates Narrative Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Together, we'll explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and increase your confidence to make meaningful changes at a pace that feels right for you. I also incorporate practical, evidence-based strategies to help clients improve organization, emotional regulation, motivation, and daily functioning—skills that can be especially helpful for individuals living with ADHD.
Whether you're beginning your recovery journey, managing ADHD, anxiety, or OCD, processing grief, or navigating a difficult season of life, I'm committed to meeting you where you are and supporting you every step of the way.
When I'm not at work, I enjoy hiking, playing video games, and physical fitness. The same energy and commitment I bring to my personal pursuits shapes the dedication I bring to every client I work with.
